140 dead in Afghanistan US bombing

The Afghan government claims 140 were killed by US airstrikes a few days ago in Farah province, according to an investigation they conducted. The government paid $2,000 per dead to their relatives.
FAIR gave a good review of how the tragedy has been covered by the corporate media, which emphasized its negative effects on US strategy in Afghanistan and played up denials by the US military of its responsibility.
