The NYT editors commended the EU delegates for walking out during Ahmadinejad's speech. They believe the conference is used to attack Israel's policies--so what?
Their argument is that there are also other countries who have a bad human rights record--so what? For instance, they mention Sudan, China and Iran. Oh, but not the US.
Here is a list of countries that boycotted or walked out at the conference.
