US Special Operations forces in 60+ countries

UPI reports that US Special Operations forces are engaged in more than 60 countries around the world at the moment. They conduct overt and covert operations, of the counter-insurgency type. For instance, they were involved in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the invasion of Panama in 1989 among others.
